Your Teacher
Hello:
I grew up in Naples, Italy, where I earned a Bachelor Degree in Education from the Istituto Magistrale S. Croce, in Castellammare di Stabia.
At the age of 20 I was a certified elementary school teacher, and my first assignment was in a small Island named Procida, where I taught the 4th grade.
I loved teaching... Then I married an American citizen and moved to the USA.
And now I would like you to be my student.

With me you will learn how to think like an Italian, how to look like an Italian, and how to talk like an Italian. I will introduce you to the Italian culture, Italian music, Italian cooking...
In a short time you will know everything about Italy and its population. Italians are romantic and passionate. Italians are thoughtful. Italians believe they can make a difference. That's why so many artists, so many explorers, so many writers and so many inventors come from Italy.
You will learn that too! You will make a difference, and you will have a positive impact on your community. And, with all the Italian people I will be glad to have shown you the way. And along with your parents, teachers and mentors, I will be part of your success in making this a better world.
I have found that those who are interested in learning other cultures and other languages, do much better in school, and are most likely to succeed in social studies and in life.
My encouragement to you is to take an interest in the Italian language, and I promise, you will be greatly rewarded.
